One day on a warm spring day; a small group of university students decided to band together for the ultimate prize. The Tournament of Kings: A grand compitition to become the next rulers of Scuttlepeg, the Jewel of the New Continent. Sadly there were complications…

Nelly Farflinger, heiress of the wealthy Farflinger clan; faced the expectations of her rather dominating family. One sham marriage/assasination attempt and one dead mother later; Nelly has to win her independence from her family, and try to save it from the poor choices of her cousin Rolin.

Kyron Drax, the orphaned child of a sinister dragon cult, has everything but love on his mind. Dealing with the infautation of Nolee, a Sister of Puriel, (and compition for the tournament at that) Kyron has a mystery on his hands. Why does Nolee keep talking about things she shouldnt know about Kyron’s past?

Edrea Kollstrome, kind-hearted enchantress, has spent more time dead than alive lately. Why does Mama Jig, matriach of the Pixies, have an interest in her, and what’s she suppossed to do with the powers shes been granted?

Tyron Bidrios, Magus, lives in the shadow of his famous swordman father. Looking to learn of his past, and make a name for himself; he’s dabbled in incest and pixie mischief. What ties does he have to the St. Croix family, and how can he prove himself to Skyshear; his ancestral family blade?

Krumm Razormane’s story had been uneventful so far, but can he rescue his lost love from indentured servitude? And will he prove to the world his ties to an ancient orcish hero?

Arthur Bhroms, recent transplant from the Old Continent, is tasked with the protection of Nelly. Can he survive in a strange land? Can he survive the rest of the party?

Episode 8: A Daughter's Duty

The rest of the Crossroads Alliance watch silently, as Nelly Farflinger becomes more and more … strange. Investigating the Gumbleskanks and Fat Molly, they learn that the wedding is an elaborate attempt to murder Nelly and shake the foundation of the Farflinger’s economic power in the city. Crashing the wedding Fat Molly reveals that Hector Gubleskank is a disguised troll, and she has been manipulating Bini Farflinger. After an epic duel, Nelly succeeds in slitting Molly’s throat, but the group destroys the Senate Hall in the process.

After witnessing the destruction; Cyril Darktusk demands that the Trial of Kings begins. They face the Sisters of Puriel in a few days. Edrea receives an ominous package: A wing and a megaphone…

The group prepares for the upcoming festivities. While on Anastasia’s personal dirigible; Edrea gets a dire warning from Mama Jig: practice her new Fae speech ability before its too late. At the party the group manages to rescue Marcello. And Nelly accepts Hector Gumblskank’s proposition of marriage. Nelly has really started acting odd since then…

Walking home, Nelly finds her cousin Rolin wandering in a drunken haze. Nelly takes him back to the Farflinger mansion, and he reveals that he’s spent some of the families fortune on Magisporks. And Aunt Mirri has a surprise of her own: She has arranged a marriage for Nelly. Nelly will meet with the groom at the St. Croix party in the next few days. Taylon and Krumm get a message from Anastasia who meets with them for a deal of her own. She will pay their debt ot the magus in exchange for help in finding her brother Alberto. Alberto was sent on a mission from the Magus, and hasn’t came back. She also invites Taylon to the St. Croix party. Edrea an Kyron are escorted the Magus tower by the Sisters of Puriel, and Nolee reveals a strange force is trying to enter the tower, and that Abcde might be up to something sinister…

Episode 5: Sodapop Follies

The party finally meets Fat Molly; and works out a deal. The Alliance will find the source of Molly’s newest competition, and the Molly will reveal Marcello’s whereabouts. Tracking this “fizzy potion” leads the group to the Kettlclank Industries in the Gnomish part of town. They arrive just in time to help the gnomes test out their newest invention: the Magispork; a magical utensil thats only good for self mutilation. After learning where the gnomes received the potions; the group arrives at a grate in Scabpick alley. Exploring downward, they find the real ingredients of the potion: Ant secretions, and find the Druid behind the operations. Molly reveals that Marcello is in the St. Croix Manor. After a long and epic fight, the group walks back to their townhouse.

Episode 4: Gold, Gold, Gold!

The Alliance finally travel to the Magus’ tower; far to the north of the city, and after describing the morning’s exploits, the group makes a new rule: Don’t leave the group! The Magus is just as crazy as the party expected. (His song and dance number did move a few of them to tears, though. It was a masterful stroke of genius and sex appeal.) Having been asked to become the groups patron, the Magus accepts under one condition: the group needs to raise 50,000gp for his experiment.
Traveling the city looking for work, the Alliance comes upon the funeral of Rosena Whense. (Who isn’t such a bad person after all.) Afterwards the group is accused of treachery by Kesseri who shows them a list of the day before; listing the activities of the Alliance and given to Marcello’s Motely to incite them to attack. After searching the Motely’s flat; the group finds a ring capable of resurrecting the dead, and find a receipt for it. Traveling to See-More’s Hats and Magical Oddities to find out that it was commissioned by Marcello for Rosena. The group decides to give Marcello a chance to bring his love back to life. They are currently in Fat Molly’s Slophouse; looking for Marcello after Gregor St. Croix posted his bail.

Episode 3: Five Beautiful Days in Scuttlepeg

Taylon and Nelly walk home from his encounter with Anastasia St. Croix. They find a letter on the doorstep and a large gem. The letter was an invitation to dinner at the Dwarf and Maiden. The Alliance spends the night drinking and feasting.

Nelly: Nelly wakes to a letter from her cousin Rolin. She meets him at the Farflinger Trading Warehouse on Scumslick pier. There she has an argument with Rolin and Aunt Bini about her duties to her clan, and the dangers of the Tournament of Kings. Aunt Bini hired Rosena of Marcello’s Motely to bring her home. Rosena attacks, and Nelly chases her back to the townhouse.

Kyron: Kyron wakes to a massive hangover, and Kesseri breaking down the door. Kesseri commands him to take her sister Nolee on an outing during the Changing of the Leaves; the annual ceremony where the elves of the Ivory Forest change their home to mimic the seasons. Nolee discusses her past with the alliance; and leaves Kyron dumbstruck. Their date is interrupted by Jarvis Wirtz, and Nolee is injured. They flee to the townhouse.

Krumm: Krumm finds the shattered door of the townhouse, and looks for a replacement. He finds an half-orc claiming to be Krusk Firstborn. He challenges the orc to a contest at the Orcish History Museum. There he encounter the hermaphroditic Vous Vous Lavez, who charms him and takes him to the townhouse.

Edrea: Edrea wakes to a poorly fixed door, and attempts to find her friends. Lured by her spirits; she is crushed by a piece of falling debris. Now dead, she encounters Mama Jig, the leader of the Pixies. She is granted the gift of the True Fae language, and is instructed to use it on the Pixies’ behalf. Reformed outside Scabpick alley, she rushes to the townhouse. She passes Zabby, preparing to use the Amazing Pyrotechnic Halfling Cannon. She joins up with Nelly and they run to the townhouse.

Taylon: Taylon receives a message from Anastasia, requesting a meeting. She accuses him of murdering her brother Alberto. Alberto left on an archeological expedition with his favorite servant Goruga. Anastasia hired Marcello to arrest him, but Marcello had other ideas. He chases Taylon to the townhouse.

The Alliance defeats Marcello’s Motely, with some help from Zabby. Rosena is slain, and Vous Vous escapes. The rest are arrested. And the Alliance finally get to met the Lord Magus.

The Crossroads Alliance began to prepare for their introduction to the Trial of Kings and Scuttlepeg society. Sadly the other teams neglected to tell them of one local custom: the presentation of favors to the current High Councilman. Arriving empty handed, they were out performed by The Radiant Sisters of Puriel, (With the head of a green dragon, and the elimination of a dangerous cult) and Marcello’s Motley. (The train robbers of the previous episode, with the severed head of their giant companion, Mumbles.)

Noticing Skyshear, Taylon’s ancestral sword, Senator Alanna Greenbloom requested a secret meeting. Despite being the patron of the rival Sisters, Alanna requests the Alliances help in capturing rival Senator Gregor St. Croix, and Marcello and his gang. She believes Marcello is destroying the rival teams on the behest of Gregor, to solidify his power base. She also arranges for the Alliance to meet with the Lord Magus, to become the Alliance’s patron.

Later while shopping at the market, the Alliance encounters Zabby Bloyer, apprentice of the Magus. She is busy transporting goods for the magus.

The next day, while talking to Greenbloom again, the city is attacked by hordes of candy themed golems. Working quickly to destroy the threat; the Alliance saves the day, and rescues Anastasia St. Croix, who takes a liking to Taylon.

Anastasia arranges a romantic midnight rendezvous with Taylon. In the middle of some hot and steamy foreplay, Taylon discovers that Anastasia may be linked to his mother. Potentially as his sister. (Yuck!) The date did not go well.

Episode 1: A Four Hour Tour

In the small university town of Dunfell, five friends and adventurers gathered in the Nodding Scholar Cafe. Calling themselves the Crossroads Alliance, the group decides to test their mettle in the Tournament of Kings, a competition that determines the new Council of Heroes in the metropolis of Scuttlepeg.

Declaring Nelly Farflinger, the heir of an influential halfling merchant family, and Taylon Bidrios, a half-elf magus, as co-leaders of the group; they join the fighters Krumm Razormane and Kyron Drax, and the gnome oracle Edrea Kollstrome.

Having procured the entrance fee, a large diamond, Nelly and the others board the Zephyr rail on route to Scuttlepeg; only to have the train get hijacked by the bandit Marcello. Fending off the bandits, and derailing the train in the process, the Crossroads Alliance accepts the assistance of Rolin Farflinger. Rolin, a cousin of Nelly, and unaware of her presence, graciously allows the group passage to the city. After meeting a rival group, The Radiant Sisters of Puriel, the Alliance faces their next task: Presenting themselves to High Council Seat Ceril Darktusk, and declaring their participation in the next tournament.
