The Commons is where the average folk of Scuttlepeg reside. Mostly human, the area is only dominated by the drama of day-to-day life. It is the most traveled district in the city, and enjoys access to every public access system in the city. When the wealthy need to do business in the poorer sections of the city; they through here. The sky over head is dominated by personal airships and a vast network of wires to support the gondola lift system above it. Due to the fact that it is was settled on where the city begins to dive into the sea, most houses are built at a slant. The locals joke that it is a bad idea to trip in the area; since you’re likely to roll right into the Blusters. Like in everything else; crime in the area is quite average. However a few thieves are growing bold enough to attempt to rob the gondola lifts, most are getting shot down by the guards the richer employ while traveling.
- The Goddess Daught: One of the focal points in the area; the Draughts is a large fountain in the public square. Its rumored that the fountain’s sources the Elemental plane of Water itself, or the more fanciful say its the tears of a dead goddess buried deep in the earth below. Oddly it is one of the few sources of water in the city that has remained unpolluted.
- The Jumping Roach: The local bar, the Jumping Roach is famous for its elaborate dart tournaments, and is a great source of local gossip. Its also were people go to avoid the more trendy bars in the city.
- The Dwarven Stead: This is the stronghold of Scuttlepeg’s Dwarves. It is a large and foreboding fortress on the eastern side of the district. It is where most of the more detailed work of the Dwarves is sold, and acts as a safe haven for any Dwarf who needs a break from a very undwarf-like city.
